MAG FREAK?
"The Nation Magazine Cover Archive (NMCA) is a non-commercial 'hobbysite' devoted to helping keep inspirational magazine design alive. These are strange days for editorial designers with homogenisation and closure of many well known (and loved) titles and independent publishers emerging to fill the gaps. Just don't forget to vote with your feet! Support quality magazines. Don't let them die." — The Management

NEW IDOLS!
Last week the new exhibition “New Idols” opened its doors at Don Gallery, Milan. Italian artist Franceso de Molfetta showcased a series of sculptures in this solo exhibition. “New Idols” is inspired by 80s icons, ranging from Batman, JFK, King Kong to ET. Most of them are presented in unusual poses and looks. We especially like the aged versions of these pop icons icons.

NIKE AINA CHUKKA
Nike’s Aina Chukka has been one of the most exciting new models to come out of Nike Sportswear this Summer 2010 season. The casual vulcanized mid-top sneaker features a woven upper placed on a vulcanized midsole and outsole that has a pattern running across it to give it an added touch. This colorway comes in Black, Swan, and a little bit of Cerulean Blue. While there is no word on when these might hit retailers in the US, they’ve already been released in Asia at Kasina.
