WILL I GO TO HELL FOR THIS is a new Danish book from three dedicated authors about graffiti on the Copenhagen S-trains from 1984 to 2009. After more than two years of work, more than 75 interviews and after selecting over 600 photos, the final result is a book that gives an overview of 25 years of Copenhagen S-train graffiti and offers the reader a rare glimpse into the hidden world of the graffiti writers. To cater for both the local Danish audience and the international graffiti community, the book comes in two versions, one with Danish text and another version with English text.

New Balance took last year’s very bland Gore-Tex collab and injected some vibrant new life, using the flight-jacket/military inspiration route and releasing a Gore-Tex collab MTG580. They are arguably the nicest NB’s since Jeff Staple’s Pigeons although, the flight-jacket inspiration is nothing new in the game. That being said, the interchangeable Velcro “N” logos are fun, and the overall construction using highly durable rough Gore-Tex fabric is something more brands should offer. So if you missed out on the last 3 rounds of Undefeated’s Poorman Weapons, here’s your shot. Available July 2010.

With Vietnamese culture as his origin and growing up in Denmark have mixed ancient East Asian perception of aesthetics with the Western perception of good design.

Phuc Van Dang has a background as Graphic Designer but also works with Concept Design and Product Development.

He frequently exhibits his skills in Concept Art and Design with Barcelona as one city where his work is among new art in demand. Interested in all aspects of design and art he explores various different subjects and new ways of expressing his ideas which he translates into his work.

Expostion will future a wide range of Phuc Van Dang's works + a limited colab between Phuc Van Dang and Bibi Chemnitz.

Exposition starts with an reception saturday 6th of march at 12.00 - 16.00.

A follow up to the hugely popular special edition Chukka boots, footwear maker Dr. Martens and urban fashion label Stussy Deluxe will issue a new collaborative model this Spring - The Hambleton. Taken design cues from the California casual styles and an European summer staple, the 2-eyelet moccasin style footwear called the espadrille, the Stussy Deluxe x Dr. Martens Hambleton Shoes feature an all canvas upper in 3 colors: Navy, Black, and Ecru. A Stussy Deluxe logo is embroidered on the tongue and a Stussy “SS” emblem is embossed near the heel counter. The familiar Dr. Martens’ cloth loop in matching color was added to each edition’s heel tab. Aside from the new design, a new EVA outsole was created, with Stussy’s signature purple stripe applied along the sidewall.

The Stussy Deluxe x Dr. Martens Hambleton Shoes will be available at select Dr. Martens retailers and Stussy chapter stores worldwide starting next month, March 2010.
