Engelbrechts stole med HuskMitNavn kunst
HuskMitNavn´s figurer på indersiden af stolen ser ud som om, de er bange for, at man sidder på dem. I hvert fald så synes øjnene at udtrykke en hvis nervøsitet. Og på ydersiden kigger figurerne opmærksomt med; hvem kommer tæt på? Er der én, som kan finde på at sætte sig?
Kunstneren HuskMitNavn er allerede et kendt navn - og han har markeret sig internationalt med sin kontroversielle og humoristiske street art. Han karakteristiske figurer og kommentarer er spredt ud over verdenen via graffiti, t-shirts, illustrationer for internationale magasiner og aviser, ligesom han er repræsenteret via gallerier i New York, Bruxelles, København og Århus.
HuskMitNavn har lavet fire forskellige illustrationer til Chairik stolene fra møbelproducenten Engelbrechts. På alle er der hhv. en mand og en kvinde. To varianter med en kvinde på ydersiden og mand på indersiden samt to varianter med mand på ydersiden og kvinde på indersiden. Man kan tydeligt se, at HuskMitNavn illustrationerne er lavet i nogle af hans foretrukne materialer: tusch, kridt og karton. Illustrationerne er beskyttet af en stærk silkemat melamin overflade som findes på Chairik stole. Chairik stolene er designet af Erik Magnussen og sælges hvert år i et femcifret antal.
HuskMitNavn stolene fra Engelbrechts produceres kun frem til 31. december 2009 og er således tids-limiteret. HuskMitNavn stolene sælges både enkeltvis eller i serier på fire stk. Den vejledende udsalgspris for HuskMitNavn stole med fire ben eller meder er: 2.500,- kr. inkl. moms pr. stk. Stolene fås hos udvalgte forhandlere.

Fredag den 5. juni udkommer Nephews fjerde album, 'DanmarkDenmark'.
Albummet indeholder 12 numre, og til hver af disse har 12 yngre, visuelle kunstnere skabt deres bud på en videofortolkning.
De 12 kunstnere har haft 100% kunstnerisk frihed til at skabe hver deres værk ud fra hver deres sang. Nephews medlemmer har stået til rådighed som medvirkende i filmene, men det har ikke været et krav, at bandet skulle optræde.

Berlin based collective Artschoolvets presents their new Summer 2009 T-Shirt Collection. Artschoolvets acts as both a brand and an online platform pushing the creative disciplines in Germany. From the start they have worked with lots of great creative talent to bring something new to the market.
The Artschoolvets Summer 2009 Collection has come out this week. Not taking themselves too serious, the brand presents a fun line-up of t-shirts, perfect for the warmer seasons.
