At first glance, this Air Max BW seems to retain the same feel of the original but while the shape and approach are well-preserved, the performance seems to be enhanced, especially with the addition of the Air Rejuven8 forefoot sole, which decreases the weight and adds some stability to an already well-balanced shoe. The accents are similar to the classic BW design, but the heel box is one example of an update, as it takes its inspiration from the Air Max 90 Current. The toebox and upper pattern features a quilted design that is incorporated throughout what appears to be mesh–a gentle update on the mesh of previous models. There will definitely be more information about this Sportswear release as we near 2010.
