Pop Art hits the pavement. Designer Marc Jacobs just released his own version of the all utilitarian skate deck for Marc by Marc Jacobs Collection. Constructed out of 7-ply Canadian Maple and comes in 2 graphics. Face Edition is adorn with a make-up plus glitter portrait of a skater (a close resemblance to the designer himself) smear with dry blood and injuries. For a more abstract variant, the Drool Edition comes furnished with illustration by B Thom Stevenson. Both features clear grip tape and limited to 100 units each. Currently available only at Marc by Marc Jacobs retail locations around the globe for US$ 89 each.
